No Potential Leak Paths
When compared to an equivalent flanged gate valve installation, the factory fitted and sealed PE-tailed pipes on the AVK Series 36 gate valve present no potential leak paths.
When installed using best-practice electrofusion welding, the AVK Series 36 gate valve creates a fully welded and durable pipeline to stand the test of time. It will deliver a significant reduction in non-revenue water, reinforces network resilience and enhance water security.
AVK's PE tailed gate valves present no potential leak paths. Equivalent flanged gate valves can have two potential leak paths because of their two bolted mechanical joints. These PE tailed gate valves do not require flanges because the valves factory-fitted PE tails are fully welded into the network using electrofusion couplers.
